Going Green

Going Green

Sustainability is a responsibility we take seriously at FADI. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint while maintaining the high-quality production standards our customers expect. Going green is not just a policy — it is embedded in how we work every day.

Waste Reduction

Leather offcuts and fabric scraps from our cutting process are sorted and sold to recycling partners rather than sent to landfill. We target zero waste-to-landfill from our production process.

Energy Efficiency

We have installed energy-efficient LED lighting throughout our facility and are progressively moving machinery to lower-energy models to reduce overall power consumption year on year.

Water Conservation

Water used in our dyeing and finishing processes is treated and recycled where possible. We have reduced water consumption by over 25% since implementing our water management programme.

Sustainable Materials

We have introduced eco-tanned leather options and recycled-fibre inner linings into our product range, giving buyers the choice of more environmentally responsible products.

Eco Packaging

Our packaging has transitioned to recycled cardboard and biodegradable polybag alternatives, reducing plastic consumption significantly across our entire outgoing shipment volume.

Community & Social

FADI supports local community initiatives in Sialkot, including vocational training for youth and environmental clean-up drives in partnership with local NGOs and government bodies.

Our Green Commitment

By 2027, FADI targets a 40% reduction in carbon emissions from production, 100% recycled or certified sustainable packaging, and ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
