Precision cutting is the foundation of every perfectly fitting FADI glove. Our cutting department combines skilled craftsmanship with computer-aided pattern technology to ensure that every panel is cut to exact specification — minimising material waste and maximising consistency across thousands of pairs.

All glove patterns are digitised using CAD software, allowing precise panel layouts to be applied to leather and fabric hides in the most material-efficient arrangement possible.
Hides are inspected and graded before cutting. The highest-grade areas are allocated to palm and knuckle panels — the most structurally critical zones — while secondary areas are used for less stressed sections.
Steel-rule die cutters and clicker presses are used for high-volume standard panels, ensuring identical dimensions with sub-millimetre tolerance on every cut piece.
Intricate panels requiring curved edges, finger gussets, or custom shapes are cut by hand by experienced craftsmen using sharp pattern knives for perfect accuracy.

Our optimised cutting layouts achieve an average hide utilisation rate above 85%, reducing raw material waste and keeping our production costs competitive for wholesale buyers.
